Bugembe Samuel is the Director of Community Operations & Creative Empowerment at Grain & Grace Foundation. He is the founder of Blac Arts and CEO of Blac Arts Academy, where he empowers youth through visual arts, recycling-based innovation, and hands-on skills training. With over three years of experience as a project officer at Anchors for Youth Afrika and prior roles as a youth counselor and peer educator with Naguru Teenage Centre, Action for Health Uganda, and Kitebi Teenage Centre, Samuel brings a deep commitment to SRHR, leadership, and youth entrepreneurship. Passionate about community mobilization and knowledge sharing, he uses art and education as tools for building a healthier, more financially empowered, and mentally resilient society.

๐ Gjalt J. Wijmenga โ Advisor on Conscious Living & Community Resilience
Gjalt J. Wijmenga is a lifelong seeker, writer, and advocate for conscious, off-grid, and self-sufficient living. With roots in naturopathy, homeopathy, microtonal music theory, and social justice, his journey has been shaped by a deep exploration of alternative knowledge systems including theosophy, anthroposophy, and just intonation. From living on a houseboat for 28 years to supporting self-sustaining communities in Uganda, Gjalt embodies a commitment to living in harmony with life and resisting the structures of exploitation. He now serves as an advisor and inspiration for grassroots projects focused on food sovereignty, ethics, and resilience beyond politics.
